What to ask the assistant about, and what not to

The assistant has access to the data in your account and can answer questions about it. Its usefulness ends where the data ends and interpretation begins.

Questions it can answer well

  • “Which packaging items do not have an adhesive designation?”
  • “Which materials have no supplier document at all?”
  • “What documents do I have for cardboard from this supplier?”
  • “How many packaging items have an incomplete mass balance?”

Questions requiring caution

Questions about the interpretation of a provision, whether specific evidence is “sufficient” for an inspection, or obligations arising from your agreement with the recipient. The assistant will provide an answer, but it is not legal advice and should not be treated as such.

Principle

Ask about facts from your data. Leave decisions to people — yours or ours. The phone number is on the contact page, and someone who knows the Regulation will answer at the other end.
