Multiple companies in one account

A group of several companies is a typical situation, and the application is designed for it — but the separation must be clear, because the declaration is signed by a specific entity.

What is kept separate

Packaging, documents, declarations and the version archive belong to the entity. Switching the entity changes all the content you see. It is not possible to issue a declaration in which data come from two entities at once — this is not a limitation, but the essence of it.

What is shared

The user list, account settings and the language model key. Permissions are not shared — a role is assigned to a company, so the same person can be an owner in one and a viewer in another.

The same packaging in two companies

If two companies in a group place an identical carton on the market, each needs its own declaration, because each is responsible for its own placing on the market. Packaging can be copied between entities together with components, materials and evidence — there is no need to enter it twice.

After copying, check one thing: whether any of the evidence is issued by name to the other company. A certificate with the recipient’s name in the heading does not transfer to another entity — such a document must be obtained separately.

How many entities the licence covers

The number of entities is one of the pricing factors and is recorded in the agreement. If another company is added after implementation, let us know — adjusting the licence is easier in advance than on the day someone tries to set it up.
