How to export data from the application
The data in the application is yours, and you must be able to take it with you at any time. There are two ways to export it.
CSV exports
Three files available for download from the relevant lists: materials, packaging and declarations. Standard comma-separated files, UTF-8 encoded, with headers in the first row — they will open in Excel and Google Sheets.
If Excel displays gibberish instead of Polish characters, import the file via Data → From Text and select UTF-8. This is a known issue with Excel’s default encoding, not with the file.
Documents individually
You download declarations as PDFs from the declaration page — each version separately, as each is a separate document. You download supplier evidence from the material page, in the files in which you uploaded it.
What is not available
There is no single button that packages the entire account into an archive. With several dozen declarations, this will take some time — it is worth planning for it rather than doing it on the day the data is suddenly needed.
When to do it
Once a quarter, as a precaution. Not because we expect a failure, but because documentation whose only copy is held by a service provider is documentation dependent on that provider.
